Managing projects

All your projects live on the Projects page. To make a new one, see Your first project.

Find a project

Type in Search projects to filter by name. Use the two buttons beside it to switch between the grid of cards and a compact list.

Rename, duplicate or export

1. Click the three-dot button on a project's card to open its menu.

   

   

• Rename changes the project's name.
• Duplicate makes a copy named "… copy". If some footage lives only on your computer, the copy may ask you to relink it the first time you open it.
• Export project saves the project as a .cutipai file on your computer — to keep a copy, or to move it to another account.

Import a project

Click Import project and choose a .cutipai file. You can rename it before importing; the dialog also tells you what it contains.

If the project uses footage from another computer, those clips arrive offline. cutipAI offers to relink them straight away — choose the folder where your copies are — or you can skip and relink later in the editor.

Delete and restore

1. Choose Delete project in the project's menu, then Move to trash. Nothing on your computer is touched — your footage and exports stay where they are.

2. Click Trash to see deleted projects. Each card says how many days it has left. Click Restore to bring a project back.
