Preferences

Open File → Preferences… (Ctrl+,). Change what you need, then click Save. Reset to defaults puts every setting back.

General

• Duration of image — how long a still image lasts when you add it to the timeline.
• Default transition duration.
• Wheel zoom — whether the mouse wheel zooms the timeline always, only with Ctrl (Cmd on a Mac), or never.
• Cached media — the thumbnails, waveforms and previews cutipAI keeps to stay fast. Empty clears them; your footage and projects are not touched.

Notifications

Choose when you hear that generations have finished — when the whole queue is done, or after every job — and where the notice appears on screen.

Storage

Store automatically my imported footage starts off. Turn it on when you want new imports copied to your account in the background; an existing saved choice is kept. Used shows your total and the percentage taken by videos, images, audio and other files.

Every account includes 3 GB. The storage purchase section accepts any whole number from 1 GB to 1 TB; its summary separates the purchased space and price, the free 3 GB, and the total. The current monthly and annual prices appear beside the billing choice. Storage is paid from your credit balance without opening a separate payment window. The protected owner account has no customer credit wallet, and its generation supplier balance cannot pay for storage. Before cancelling, reduce stored footage to 3 GB or less. Shortcuts

1. Open Preferences and choose Shortcuts.

   

   

2. Type in Search actions… to find the action.

3. Click its key and press the new combination — Escape cancels. Click Save.

cutipAI refuses a combination that is already used, or that your browser keeps for itself. A changed shortcut shows a reset button that restores its default. The full list is on the Keyboard shortcuts page.
